By Marsha is a product of passion for fine things and luxury furniture. Following 15 years working at high-end interior design agencies, Marsha fell in love with the Missoni Fabric and decided to seek its exclusivity in Northern Lebanon. After successfully opening her own showroom for Missoni Home in Zgharta, Marsha hit a plateau. She couldn’t expand beyond her area, due to the inability to reach clients outside the northern region.
Saber Middle East was assigned the task of Business Development support through LEEP (UK aid), to guide Marsha into growing her business and increasing brand awareness so she can reach clients across Lebanon, especially the capital Beirut.
After receiving the LEEP grant, Saber Middle East consultant advised Ms. Marsha to polish and boost her online presence on social media to appeal to a wider clientele. The coaching sessions included topics covering customer-centricity, communication, and sales techniques.
A SWOT analysis and a thorough assessment was conducted to find ways to boost the visibility of the brand. Although the first attempt to enhance the quality of the posts did not prove to be successful, the second one, which was based on a well-studied conversion funnel, was a turning point for the business.
By applying the knowledge she had gained during our coaching sessions, Marsha was able to sell her entire old collection and items from her new one in just 2 months! She succeeded in scaling up her sales by 30% compared to the year before. In addition, her Instagram fans increased from 1,560 to 2,893 followers in just 2 days. She started receiving messages inquiring about items availability and cost. Many were confirmed sales afterwards.
Now that everything is on track, Ms. Marsha is planning ahead for interesting social media calendars that will help her brand stand out from the competition, and she is also organizing virtual tours, atelier deco and more.
